Clair visits Den Haag!

The weather here finally turned, from winter to summer with Clair's arrival. Which is why Clair is smiling so happily at the camera in the garden tea-house, and why Tamara and Clair look so happy at the beach.

The last picture is of a sketch of Clair, including the quote he said at the time of the sketch. He was referring to my notion of doing art full time. Personally, I feel like I am in a roller coaster, climbing to the top of the big hill.

Notice the orange feather boas on the table with Clair. We celebrated the Queen's birthday, a big Dutch national holiday, in Amsterdam. Everyone wears orange, and we wore the feathers as hats. It was the wildest party any of us have ever seen. It was all we could do to meet up with Tamara, we were lucky to connect on the streets.

Ain't nothin' worse than getting to the end of your life, looking back and saying, "I wish I had done that."
