Parkweg pictures
Per several requests, I am posting pictures of the new place. Note the fish pond, with the resident duck, Bella. Clair helped plant the iris in the pond while visiting, and named the female duck “Bella” and her mate, “Frank.” We are hoping that they set up residence here, too. We spend most of our time in the living room, pictured, since it is so sunny. The other pics did not turn out, so I will post more another time.

it must be lovely to finally be surrounded by your own things. i'm very jealous of Clair! will see you guys soon, tho'. And jealous of you too Erik -- good good good that you will look back and say, I pursued art, and in Holland, no less, alongside the masters! I'll think of you next time I'm in the Dutch section of the National Gallery
Hugs,

Ah yes, The good life! I am so looking forward to taking up residence, be it for a short while only, in such opulent surroundings.
The interesting thing is that Michael Upchurch (one of my students) used to be a Shell Brat. He recognized the house immediately and went to school next door in what was then (Still is?) the American School.

How great to see scenes of the new place! I am glad if you are feeling at least a tiny bit settled. I hope you get internet soon!
All our best--
