A bike ride near Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Most of these pictures were taken during a bike ride about an hour's drive west of Oshkosh. This part of Wisconsin can be stunningly beautiful. The first picture is of a roadside tribute to July Fourth. The third picture is of an ethanol plant. Ethanol costs 3.50 a gallon, as compared to 4.50 a gallon for gasoline. Corn and wheat are a big part of the economy here.
