Success!
My first art opening in the Hague was great fun. Food and wine were great, and everyone was delightful. Most really did like the paintings and drawings, and I managed to sell a couple of drawings which felt great. The sun even came out, and we all moved outside to enjoy the last few afternoon rays.

Glad your show went well. How much did you spend on frames? Just kidding.
about what the first drawing sold for... just as long as we keep the value of my time out of the equation, I'm ahead. But if you add back in the satisfaction factor, I'm holding a royal straight flush ... and everyone thinks I'm bluffing.
