Torn between two worlds

My typical lunch for painting in the dunes is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. But it's got to be made with Jif, only available in the states...and I'm down to my last jar of Jif peanut butter. The kicker is that the sandwhich is only good when smothered with Becel... you guessed it, Becel is only available in Holland. I sense an impending gastronomic and cultural crisis.

Erik,

Jif is available on eBay in the US and can be mailed to the Netherlands.
However, duur.

I love Jif, it's a family problem, you see. If you want, I'll send some your way.

Thanks to all those offering to send Jiff jars to Holland! No worries, we are back in the states in June and can pick some up.

It is good to know that a quick trip to Canada can solve our impending Becel supply problem. I wonder what customs will say to a trunkload of Becel?

E here.

President Obama's elected, and now I learn we can get Becel in the states under a different brand name. We are no longer torn between two worlds.

We'd come back to the states right away, but the weather here is so great I guess we'll stay awhile.
